Founder perspective
A lesson about what strong brands really sell.
Before founding BluCactus, Ken Schreck built part of his marketing foundation in Amsterdam while working for Stream Global Services and supporting international accounts. One of the most influential experiences from that period involved Nike.
The lesson was bigger than shoes or apparel. Strong brands can sell movement, confidence, aspiration, identity, and belonging. People do not only buy what a product is. They also buy what it helps them feel, express, or become.
“People remember brands that make them feel something.”
That perspective became part of how BluCactus approaches branding, fashion marketing, digital growth, websites, and presentations: the work still has to mean something to the person on the other side.
