What this agency review process covers
The process separates editorial requests from commercial visibility. Factual corrections and editorial consideration belong to the independent review track. Sponsored profiles follow a separate commercial track and never replace an editorial ranking.
Editorial request
Factual corrections
Submit a correction when a BluCactus comparison article contains information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
- Company name or website
- Services or specialization
- Office location or markets served
- Leadership information
- Publicly verifiable credentials
A correction does not guarantee continued inclusion, a ranking change, or a backlink.
Editorial request
Editorial consideration
An agency may request consideration when it appears relevant to a future update of a BluCactus comparison article.
BluCactus independently decides whether the agency fits the article, meets its methodology, adds useful choice for readers, and should be included. We also control the final description, position, and link treatment.
No payment or reciprocal link is required for editorial consideration.
How editorial consideration works
BluCactus reviews evidence, article fit, and reader value before making an independent editorial decision. The process does not operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
01
Review the article
We confirm the article, its purpose, and the selection methodology relevant to the request.
02
Verify the evidence
Public claims, services, leadership details, work examples, and credentials are checked where relevant.
03
Assess editorial fit
We consider relevance, specialization, quality, reader usefulness, and whether the agency adds meaningful choice.
04
Make an independent decision
BluCactus decides whether, where, and how the agency appears. The submitting agency does not approve the outcome.

Evidence agencies should provide
Strong submissions make verification easier. Provide public sources that support the specific request instead of sending promotional claims or a finished profile.
- Official company name and website
- Service pages and specializations
- Leadership or team information
- Relevant published work or case studies
- Public portfolio examples
- Verifiable certifications or awards
- Markets and industries served
- The relevant BluCactus comparison article
- Public sources supporting a correction
- Disclosure when an outreach agency represents a client
Do not submit confidential client information, private contracts, unpublished campaign data, or material you are not authorized to share.
The agency review process
Every request begins with the same intake process. The outcome depends on whether the submission is a correction, an editorial consideration request, or a sponsored-profile inquiry.
01
Submit
Choose the correct request type and provide public evidence.
02
Verify
BluCactus checks the article, agency information, and supporting sources.
03
Classify
The request moves into the factual, editorial, or sponsored track.
04
Decide
Editorial decisions remain independent. Sponsored requests require separate approval.
05
Update or scope
A verified correction may be updated, or an approved commercial request may move to scoping.
Looking for a different editorial opportunity?
Requests for expert articles or sponsored editorial collaborations that are not connected to an agency listing belong on the BluCactus Editorial Partnerships page.

Frequently asked questions
Can I pay to be included in a BluCactus ranking?
No. Editorial inclusion and ranking positions cannot be purchased. Payment may only support a separately labeled sponsored profile outside the numbered editorial ranking.
Does submitting a correction guarantee an update?
No. BluCactus reviews the evidence and determines whether an update is necessary. We may correct, clarify, retain, replace, or remove information according to the article’s current editorial needs.
How does BluCactus evaluate agencies?
The criteria depend on the article. Relevant factors may include service specialization, public proof, market fit, work quality, reader usefulness, verified credentials, and whether the agency adds meaningful choice to the comparison.
Can I request a specific ranking position or description?
You may identify a factual error, but you cannot require a position, description, anchor text, or link treatment. BluCactus controls all final editorial wording and placement.
Will BluCactus use the agency profile I submit?
No prewritten profile is required. Submit verifiable facts and public evidence. BluCactus writes and edits any final editorial or sponsored profile independently.
What is a sponsored agency profile?
It is a clearly disclosed commercial profile placed outside the numbered editorial ranking. It does not represent independent selection as a best agency and cannot change the editorial list.
Will a sponsored profile include a dofollow link?
No dofollow link is guaranteed. Commercial links use appropriate sponsored or nofollow attributes, and BluCactus controls the destination, wording, placement, and anchor text.
Does BluCactus participate in reciprocal-link arrangements?
No. BluCactus does not accept “add us and we will add you” conditions. A natural co-marketing relationship may be discussed separately, but every editorial decision remains independent.
